I think u might be wrong(inthis case RAJASTHAN PATRIKA) if u are saying that they are going to provide 4 GB space according to THE HINDU where BSNL top official said that ONE CAN SAVE Rs.2400/month because of this and HINDU claims that the data cap would be 4 GB for home 500 users and 1 GB for 250 users.

According to Kannada Praba evening edition the new tariff for BSNL Broadband is as follows
Home 250 - 1GB limit, 90 paisa per MB over the limit - speed 2mbps.
Home 500 - 5GB limit, 80 paisa per MB over the limit - speed 2 mbps.
Home 1000 - 10GB limit, 80 paisa per MB over the limit - speed 4 mbps
Home 1800 - 30GB limit, 70 paisa per MB over the limit - speed 6 mbps
Home 3300 - 50GB limit, 70 paisa per MB over the limit - speed 8 mbps
UL900/900+ speed 2 mpbs
Night Unlimited on all Home plans except Home 250 is from 0200hrs to 0800hrs.

BSNL is keeping us guessing and newspapers in India are making wish lists.

Friends!Out of curiousity, I called the CC personel today. He said they got the message of speed increase to 1 MBPS (he was talking abt 1 MBPS not 2 MBPS), official order has not yet arrived. He also told abt the 250 Home Plan and 700 Business plan change, but said they don't got any official message abt other plans. They asked me to call after January 1 2007. So, even when then the BSNL officials are not sure of what is happening, why are we making such huge assuptions, and in a way increasing the BP.No New Year had been such mysterious like this.

Kannada Praba is talking out of it's arse. If those timings are true then it will be a massive disappointment. Basically it's making the night unlimited thing useless.
