Hi everyone, I need some help with my JioJoin app not working .
Since the last 3 days , I am unable to register my JioJoin app. The app shows "Unregistered" for both registration and JHV network status.

Landline shows 'Unregistered' in the ONT gateway. JHV network status is also Unregistered. The Loop: After a fresh app install, I get the 'Connect to JioFiber WiFi' error despite being on the local network.

I already did -
ONT: Official Jio Home Gateway (Original).
Resets: 5 full factory resets performed; no change in voice registration.
Network: IPv6 is active and reachable. No Private DNS/VPN active.
App: Reinstalled multiple times; all permissions (Location/Phone) granted.

Has anyone successfully escalated this to the L2/L3 support team? Every time I call the care , they just tell me to restart the router.

Here the issue - click

Only solution as of now Uninstall and reinstall the app .
This is an old issue and jio dont give a shit about this . You will find plenty of youtube videos for same issue.

@invisible007 As I mentioned in my post, I’ve already reinstalled the app multiple times and it hasn't fixed the 'Connect to JioFiber' loop. I’m looking for a solution beyond the basics since the ONT itself shows 'Unregistered' for Voice.

The fix is to root your ONT.
It is a very simple fix if you root but impossible if you don't.
Share me your ONT details and refer my GitHub guide to root.

This issue is now fixed, so sharing the update.

After contacting Jio Care, they arranged a technician visit. The engineer checked everything on-site and, since the ONT and local configuration were fine, escalated the case to the backend/network team. There were two visits on the same day before the issue was pushed further internally.

A common misconception I want to clear up: JioJoin is not just a standalone app. It is part of the JioFiber service itself, similar to a fixed landline/voice service. Because of this, Jio actually treats it as a priority service, and the issue wasn’t dismissed as a simple app malfunction.

Once the backend team intervened, they re-registered / refreshed the JioJoin service on their end (the engineer mentioned something like cache or service provisioning). After this, the JHV status switched to registered, and the JioJoin app started working normally.

In my case, router resets, app reinstall, IPv6 checks, and local troubleshooting did nothing the fix required backend-level action by Jio

The issue is that the files are sometimes not pushed by their ACS server or sometimes faulty config files are pushed that is why issues occur. My 6 ONT were corrupted due to their faulty backend servers. Escalating the issue resulted in only replacements not fixes on their side.
