also loved the whole interaction at the house of that missing person who fell down from the sky in the first episode. missed how chief knew the pilot of the plane though. was eating food at that time.

The whereabouts of the pilot (Drew Thompson) is unknown but the chief knew Drew back in the day when he first came to Kentucky. He said that was the day cocain appeared in the Harlan County.

that part i remember. i still have no idea how he guessed the name of the pilot during the talks in that house with crazy people.

Beth Grant (Mama Truth) said the pilot's name sounded something like Jew. So, Art asked if it was Drew. May be, it will be revealed later how he figured that out.

I wasn't expecting the Chekhov's gun rule (with respect to the rattlesnake) come into play this quickly. Poor naive Billy. R.I.P. It was good to see that Boyd felt bad for Billy.A clever and entertaining hour of television but I hope this is not the season of fail for Raylan.

E04 - There was a bit too much southern banter this week than usual. It was difficult to follow. This week also did the customary trip off the main story for the season.Given his smooth talking confidence, will it be too much to ask for Raylan to win a fight or two here and there. He always needs help from some one.Since when did Colton grow a concience. Either that or he doesn't like killing women that he had to snort coke to do the deed? Or it's just that the story needed Ellen May to escape.So, what happened to Ellen May? There are 3 possibilities. I don't think she's smart enough to figure out that she was being led to slaughter and run away. Either Cassie kidnapped her or Johnny tipped off Duffy who kidnapped her. I guess we will see sooner or later.There has been talk of giving more exposure to the characters of Tim and Rachel this season. I wonder if the relationship between Raylan and Rachel is that of a mentor-mentee or do we spy a budding romance?

finally saw it. nothing on that parachute guy. raylan is the guy who uses his gun i do not see him win physical fights. i want him to shoot more of the bad guys and then say, it was justified. righto. i guess may has a bigger role in this season. and the character of cassie is going to be even bigger. next episode should be very interesting. and for the love of god. enough with the love interests. first his ex-wife and then the bartender. leave him alone for god sake!
