This week's episode is probably the best of this uneven season. I hope the boring Crowe clan story will end next week so we can move on to better things in the season finale.
Last week's episode wasn't entirely bad either. It's always good to see Dickie Bennet (Jeremy Davies).

The moment Art announced his imminent retirement a few seasons ago, I knew he wasn't going to retire peacefully. That's an usual trope.

Raylan had a new boss.

Chief Deputy Ed Kirkland from Detroit? He's gone after Art's shooting case was resolved because of Kendall's confession. Rachel Brooks is the new interim Chief Deputy now. This is going to throw some interesting situations especially if she tries to keep Raylan on a leash and if Art is not back at full capacity any time soon.

The coversations between Art and Raylan are as much fun as the conversations between Boyd and Raylan. I'll miss Art if he's gone for good.

Nothing comes close to the conversational style of Boyd. It is just so special. Love how he killed Ethan Picker in the episode.
