Mention Modem model and make as well as the ethernet card details.
Start All programs Accessories Communications
Network connection Wizard.
create a LAN net work.
If link with screen shots are needed , respond.

Start Network LAN status ??
..................... Repair what is the error message?
Use 192.168.1.1 as Modem default Gateway ( ethernet connection )

I think I have also been provided with this modem. It has a major fault. In Windows XP you have to configure the Network Card (NIC) to use Line Speed/Duplex Mode to 10Mbps/Full Duplex instead of Auto Negotiation or 100Mbps/FulDuplex.In Vista it runs well.In Linux (Kubuntu) it has not yet run with any success. Is it a firmware problem? I saw thus somewhere. Can it be rectified permanently with a firmware upgrade?Product Information Page in Status tab of Modem shows:Product InformationModel Number AR7WRDHW Revision UnknownSerial Number *************USB PID 0x6060USB VID 0x0451Ethernet MAC *:*:*:*:*:*DSL Default MAC *:*:*:*:*:*USB MAC *:*:*:*:*:*USB Host MAC *:*:*:*:*:*Software VersionsGateway 3.7.2ATM Driver 7.02.01.00DSL HAL 7.02.01.00DSL Datapump 7.02.03.00 Annex ASAR HAL 01.07.2cPDSP Firmware 0.54Boot Loader 1.4.1.5
