Latency Bug while gaming

Hey,

I recently installed Airtel XStream and there is this weird bug when i play on SG valorant Servers. I am attaching screenshot for reference. When i qued a Deathmatch server my ping was 75ms. When i restarted my game my ping changed to 55ms. I kept trying this and results are consistent. I tried another the ping was 62 and when i restarted it became 65. Like totally random (55-75) range. Anyway i can permanently get 55ms?

I think latency issue cannot be resolved till they fix the undersea fiber optic cable cut issue currently all the data traffic routed via Singapore as I can see in attached screenshots your connection is also routed via Singapore

I don't think anyone can "fix" latency to a "fixed" constant number , it will always vary up and down right?

Yes you cant fix it to a constant number but if its fluctuating then something is wrong with your isp. In my case its a different issue, the latency number is changing upon a restart to the same server which i was connected to. Doesnt happen with my other backup ISP

Very similar thing used to happen in JioFiber, but for every server, including Mumbai. One game 30ms, the other 50ms, or anything.

Disabling Ethernet and enabling again used to give me different ping every time too. I was too lazy to do that though, so I just played without doing anything even in games I got 80ms in Mumbai, until I started dying too much.

I don't think you can fix it. Even VPN might not help, but you can try. And asking Airtel to improve it would be a good idea but I doubt they would do anything.

The only way i can fix/get constant ping with restarting my game on the same server is with exitlag for now. What a weird behaviour :/

@Tejas Sawant That's good. At least something is working for you. Nothing worked when I tried, even with Exit Lag, every game had different ping for me. Only happened in Valorant though.

ping has been terrible on airtel for most singapore servers lately.wonder whats the issue,used to get 70 ms for singapore now its mostly 90-100
