hello friendsits been a month since waiting for mtnl to announce 2 mbps plans for night unlimited . seems like they are sleeping and waiting for the monsoon to be over.anyways tata indicom has announced very decent night plans with 2 mbps speed with no data caps..the 99 rs offer with time based plans as most of you know by now. i want to go for it rather than waiting for mtnl.. i seek info regarding the service and speeds offered by tata indicom in delhi ( may be south delhi) and the experience..in the past people used to complain about it ...is it the same scenario still...also what speeds they provide especially in unlimited packages and the down time if any..also they wire through poles to your home as far as i know ..how is the maintenance of those and how long it takes for them to rectify a line problem...i am seeking service info in delhi from tata indicom..there have been a lot of posts regarding their service in the past..wanna know how things are as of now..:redface:also what does nat status say... is it firewalled if yes can we open ports through the modem

In South Delhi you will get awesome speeds! I get 55-70kbps consistent speeds! Also there are no downtime worries so far! Only one but that was cause someone in my neighbourhood had cut the cables. Get it now mate!

i was kind of expectng this reply from you ..only one fan of tata broadband in the forums..nothing personal..will take your word for it .. cc of tata bband have not contacted me yet..regarding wires cutting...reminds me when i was on hotwire and cable operators of other isp used to cut them ..was sort of competition between them ..cutting each others wire funny thing was all had their hub boxes on the same pole..i hope it does not happen againby the way which cable operator manages the line for tata broadband in your area i am near south ex..
