Hi Guys,
Please see following phone specifications.

LG
KS20 GSM Mobile Phone- Slim Smart Phone with Microsoft® Windows Mobile® 6.0 from LG India
Price - 16,990 but in HomeTown, they are offerring at only 12,000
(3G, Dual Camera, 1GB MicroSD Card Supplied, Earphones, Mobile Case and more)

HTC
HTC - Products - HTC Touch Viva - Specification
Price - 18,000 but in HomeTown, they are offering at only 14,000
(No 3G, No Memory Card Supplied, No Earphones Supplied, No Mobile Case Supplied)

I am not willing to compromise at quality (just for the sake of some free goodies that comes up with LG) - Please suggest what is the best to go for?

LG KS20 or HTC Touch Viva (My budget is only up to 14 to 15k).

Thanks.

@Chinmay.

Thanks for posting it. Calm down yar. Its not about "follow what others do", we are not at all against LG or anything else. Everyone likes to take risks. Its just that these days we have to play "ultra" safe as the companies are going beyond their limits to cheat/fraud for their profit. Anyway, thats a completely different discussion and lets not get into it.

This image is impressive - http://img19.imageshack.us/img19/1485/screen004ekz.png and it gives a feel like its a 3D interface. It is a good one.

Does it have a facility to rotate the picture in landscape if we rotate the phone horizontally (from vertically)? - i know it named as some "meter" but i forgotten the actual name of that technology.

3D interface is by d 3rd party app Mobile shell.
ANd sorry dude, the tehnology u were talking abt is 'accelerometer';
which is unfortunately not present in LG ks20, but dont worry there is direct shortcut on today screen(like desktop of our PC) which toggles ur display from horizontal-> vertical and vice versa.

BTW where u r getting it for 12k, i m thinking of buying a new 1 for my bro as well.
couldnt my check of own gallery, imageshack is down, lmao!

Does HTC VIVA support 8GB card? Those guys told me that only 2GB is recommended. Even if you insert 4GB or 8GB, it will support but your phone will be too slow. So better to have only 2GB card.Is that true? Is there anyone who is using VIVA and having more than 2GB card without any problem?

Increasing memories doesnt cause phone to slow.. it's mostly happens with Nokia! am using 2GB card with my HTC touch and no problems.

well older generation phones were on less powerful processors. early n-series were terrible with large memory.god even my 6275 sucks.

DUDE...

no one can tell that thing about that particular model unless he has actually done the same.

the best thing u can do is check reviews... or at max see how powerful its processor is.

htc touch viva seems to be launched in october 2008. that is fairly recent. so i can just assume that it would be powerful enough to handle a 4GB card without any hassle. considering rival products include the iPhone which has 8/16GB.

----------

it has a 200MHz processor. iphone i think has a 400MHz processor. now that is a huge difference

----------

Expansion-Interfaces: microSD, microSDHC, TransFlash, SDIO
Supports High Capacity (SD 2.0/HC) memory cards with capacity of up to 32GB

it support up to 32GB! :O

4GB should be easy!
