Yup, people generally install apps that they find useful. However Jio Store obviously ≠ Google Play Store, so not only is it populated by mostly Utter CrApp, but on top of that we have CrApps being forcibly installed as well that we cannot even permanently remove. How I wish someone would figure out how to root the STB already, so that we can at least install a decent video player with subtitle support!

These may be useless to a particular segment but not for all. One should not decide on the bases of their preferences.
Don't install into the STB if it is useless for anyone. There are many apps present in Google Play store and Apple App store, but people only install the usefull ones as per their own interest.

Your doing a fab job updating the list of apps. I do not condemn or being offensive to any specific group that enjoy the content provided by these apps. I feel the quantity of apps is lacking in quality content wise, again it might sound prejudice of me without even trying out these apps and calling them useless but this is my opinion based on the hundreds of apps I've used. You finally get to a stage where your able to second guess the usefulness of the app just by the name/sound/UI and ultimately the content.

Indeed, but we can't do anything but to ignore such apps if they are not in any use to us.
Yes, some apps are deliberately thrown to us over the home screen, that need rectification.

Any of you fine people have started to notice "Lionsgate Play subscription bundle" AD ? I can't seem to find it on the Jio store. I could only find this article about it.

It's available only through JioTV+, no separate App has been added for it. Although I can't find any contents in any of the said regional languages except than English.

My Amazon Prime subscription is still active which i claimed as a part of jio gold plan that already expired on 12th july and now i have recharged with bronze plan and Amazon Prime still working

Yes they started with Airtel and now Jio. Lionsgate Play expanding their reach in India.
Waiting for Netflix, Voot Select, Disney Plus Hotstar Premium, Discovery Plus and Hungama Play

All Sony Liv shows are ad supported now on the Jio TV + app(There was a recent firmware update for the STB) ... This is quite annoying and new... What about other users.. Please check and update

Better watch through the dedicated SonyLiv app, no ads are there if you watch the contents from it.
