@Crazyguy030601 , has data been added to your account on pro-rata basis depending on when your billing cycle ends and then you will be charged the 299 also on pro-rata basis? In any case, I will call them tomorrow to get a clearer picture. As I told earlier, my billing cycle is near end and hence it will be a waste of 299 + tax and also the data will go waste.

How to consume even 1/10th of this data with 16 mbps?
tbh. this is a great option on base plans. you don't need to overspend on faster speeds just to get more data if you don't need it. get the base plan. get this topup. and you have enough data to not worry about usage through the month. right now, they charge you for slabs of 10/100GBs. this is much better.

@Sam27 I didn't take the 299 add-on. And my bill cycle has been shifted to the 10th of every month, so it doesn't seem like data has been allotted on a pro-rata basis. However, assuming that the 299 thing is an add-on, it will be billed according to the bill cycle on your base plan. You should contact customer care for that, though.

Agree....it is a complete peace of mind. However, Airtel right now is my secondary connection on base plan and ACT is primary with 1000 GB allotted. Once my Airtel is upgraded to fiber in near future, I have to make out which to keep primary and secondary after checking performances of both.

Can anyone tell me how to remove this recurring data plan from my original plan that is 799 per month. I activated it by mistake and dont think i can use so much data and pay 300 rupees extra every month

@Sam27 Yeah I am on a 300GB data. But I did not have any long term 1000GB data. Plus, they aren't giving any bonus data for the new plans, so I'm not sure how it got there. Anyway, good for me😂
