BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi addressed the BJP National Council meet here and launched an attack on the Congress for not naming party vice president Rahul Gandhi as its PM candidate in the recent AICC meet. Modi said that Congress president Sonia Gandhi didn't want to sacrifice her son by nominating Rahul as the PM candidate as the the party's defeat is imminent in the Lok Sabha polls due in May. “When defeat is imminent which mother will sacrifice her son,” Modi asked.Taking a dig at Rahul, Modi said that the Congress party members came to the AIIC meet to hear the name of their PM candidate nominee instead got three additional cylinders. In his speech, Modi pointed out that when Congress MPs elected Sonia Gandhi to be the Prime Minister but she instead nominated Manmohan Singh for the top job. Questioning the Congress of following its tradition of naming the PM candidate, Modi said that a person for the PM post should be elected by the MPs.Modi also commented on Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar's tea vendor remark saying that the dynasty doesn't want to stoop to a level where it has to contest against a tea vendor coming from a backward strata as they have "feudal mindset".

If you already don't know, politics is a profession in itself.They are ruling the nation through a proxy Prime Minister. For a period of 10 years.
 
I guess Kejriwal is super qualified to become the PM of the country considering he is an IAS officer right?

No, unless we know his achievements as IAS officer. About Modi, whole nation knows that Modi is CM of a developed state for 3 terms.
If Kejriwal proves his worth in Delhi, then we could consider him for PM post in 2019 :D

This Kejriwal dude has lost all the respect over failed promises and lies. Worst of it all, he was used by Congress to come back to partial power in Delhi. This was an insult to all those who voted for AAP and BJP around 70% of Delhi voters.Such foolish statements by Mani Shankar Aiyar only makes Congress appear desperate. Current speculations are that Congress would want to provide all possible financial and strategic help to AAP for Loksabha elections so that they can again come to power at the center in a way similar to Delhi. They did the same when Narayan Rane broke away from Sena-BJP alliance, Raj Thackrey broke away to form MNS from Shiv Sena, etc, etc. This just ate into BJP votes. Text book example of divide and rule. Divide people of this country based on class, religion, region, language and enjoy behind the scenes coalitions.
 
He was an income tax commissioner who left his job because he was tired of seeing corruption in the department.
As for Modi... Now I have never been to Gujarat. I have no idea how 'developed' the internal areas are (outside the major cities) so I am not in any position to say how effective he has been as the CM of the state.
Congress is in power in Delhi government through AAP government? So why is AAP protesting outside the Home Ministry? For the lulz?
