Does anyone have fix for input delay for eafc in ps5 . I will share my details

Tv - hisense 55inch 4k 144 hz refresh rate

Console - ps5 slim

Isp - Excitel

Ping before DMz - 180ms

Ping after Dmz - 24 ms stable all the time.

Server - aws mumbai (65.0.234.118)

Ea connection score - 98

Before putting the ps5 in dmz i was getting 180ms ping to mumbai servers eafc . I also have the ip address of the mumbai server ( 65.0.234.118) . I tried everything but the input delay is not going away .

I live in karnal , haryana , india and i am facing massive input delay in ultimate team . Cant play champs at all . The delay is almost a second late now . Players can't defend , dribble or pass .slide tackle is delayed upto 2 seconds . Before saying its a skill issue im a division 3 player and i reached division 3 with this delay and i still cant win more than 2 games in champs so yeaa , its input delay .

I have tried all the hardware and router settings that are available on internet---

  1. Upnp
  2. Dmz
  3. Allm
  4. Game mode on tv
  5. Turned off stadium and player shadows
  6. Ps5 in performance mode
  7. Wired connection
  8. Qos
  9. Wired connection to controller .
  10. Cloudfare dns
  11. Tele cam
Please suggest if i should switch ISP's or is there anything else that can fix this delay .

Not sure if it is related in anyway, my Gemini chat conversations were getting interrupted extremely often. I was using my own router connected to excitel routers LAN. Eventually theorized that the triple NAT was causing the excitel router to aggressively close connections and hence my TCP stream connection was getting interrupted. maybe you are facing a similar issue.

No nat is not the issue for me because , i already changed the nat type from strict to nat 2 . And Dmz also open all the ports for ps5 . Thats how i was able to achieve the 24 ms ping in the first place .

Maybe CGNAT is the reason. Too many users under a single public IP.

yea , this can be a possibility, i asked excitel for a static but they said they don't offer static ip and unfortunately i bought a 12 month plan from them 🤦‍♂️

Getting a refund would be difficult from excitel but you can try and switch to a different ISP. This goes without saying but don't commit to long term plans this time without testing if it actually works for you.
For gaming, get Airtel. They have the best possible routing and pings and is widely available in India.

Luckily tomorrow i get to test airtel fiber as i had an ongoing connection with airtel on another property of mine so i had an option on airtel thanks app to shift connection for free . But i need to configure it in bridge mode to my openwrt router somehow to get open nat . Lets see what happens tomorrow
