Not yet as prem kumar asked till the end of the month to fix the issue.

These guys have real problems with lightning as they do not give Fiber to Home, during lightening i have lost 3 routers in 2 years time along with LCO losing three switches, that is why my LCO has told that the entire network will be upgraded using OLT, ONT etc and he will bring Fiber to Home after 2 months.

My LCO did switch my media converter to ONT, it looks the same as my previous one, no difference in quality.

oh, looks like no improvement is possible then unless in2cable upgrades its infrastructure. So, there is a fiber cable entering your house instead of cat5/6 cable?

Yeah, they split the fiber and plugged it in the TX and RX ports of media converter, then a lan cable from media converter goes in the router.

My connection is same as you, fiber- Media converter - LAN cable - router. LCO claims he will change this after 2 months, let us see what he does.

He will be shifting me to ONT tomorrow for one final try at fixing the issue.
