Micromax A116 Canvas HD

Dubbed as A116 Canvas HD, the smartphone comes with 5-inch 1280x720p IPS display.

The display on A116 is not the only improvement over A110, but Micromax has also packed a 1.2GHz MediaTek quad-core processor in the smartphone. The Canvas HD also comes with 8MP rear camera, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, 1GB RAM, front camera, 2100 mAh battery and the usual connectivity options.

Micromax has revealed that A116 Canvas HD will go on sale starting first week of February for a price-tag under INR 15,000, but did not disclose the exact pricing.

Could this be a reason of decline in A110 stock, and increase in prices of the limited stocks.

Also, would this be the new recommendation over iBall Andi 4.5h

iGyaan first look of Canvas 3. The phone really looks promising and at a killer price for the hardware that it offers.

Google Now was introduced in 4.2 right? It alone is worth the 4.2 update. I admit that it is not that useful here in India but it still manages to do a lot of things and it would only get better with time. In any case, Android 2.3 was more or less feature complete. 4.x is largely a visual update.
