Mine isn't too loud but yes when I full blast it its fan airflow noise is clearly audible.
@_rajat ask your friend to check for a power chill button on his AC remote, it looks like a little dude raised arms flexing his muscles like a bodybuilder pose
lol. Note mine I have to press and hold the button for a moment like half a second before releasing it only then the power chill gets triggered else not, I find my remote buttons operation very annoying.
Ya mine doesn't have wifi but I prefer it that way. Not a fan of connected smart devices especially high powered stuff coz I've experienced flaky behavior with my smart bulbs etc which left a bad taste in mouth.

Panasonic has very seamless smart connectivity. I don't even use the remote anymore. Can control all the 3 ACs from my app. All panasonic ACs are matter enabled and I don't even need the app to operate them, can add it as accessory in homekit on iPhone. Works pretty well that way also.
But yes you're right it comes to personal preference.
With smart connectivity there are a lot of things to play around with, like sleep mode where I can set a specific temperature for each hour or keep it off.

So was close to the mall. Decided to visit the outlets. Mitsubishi Heavy guy recommended 2T (around) non inverter. 75K around. 85K+ with installation etc. he said for inverter he would suggest a model that costs around 95L lol 3T. Would cost upwards of 1L with installation etc.
Hitachi guy suggested getting either the Sumo or combo model with heater. Costing around 55/60K installation extra. These are inverter.
Ogeneral guy again suggested non inverter. Costing around 58/63K installation extra.
Stablizer would cost upwards of 5K these days coz copper prices are very high.
I'm tempted to get the Hitachi dual model. Seems reasonably priced and I can use it in winters as well. No sense to get pure AC at this point.
Room size is around 200 sq ft. Probably more. Three side sun facing. This is what I told them.
Would post model numbers when I get on PC.
