Mobile partner - "init failed" error in Windows 7

Guys,I was successfully able to use Mobile Partner in Windows XP. Now I switched to Windows 7, Mobile partner is installed but when I try to open it, it always says 'init failed'. I use Huawei UMG1831 3G modem.Can someone guide me how to fix this issue?

I had the same version. Uninstalled it. Installed it with installer from another source. It is now working. Thanks.

When I go to "Call" page, the option for video call is disabled. Have you ever tried making a video call?

all installers are different. the main reason is the mobile partner is the basic , but add on plugins are embedded on the installers by various guys. same mobile partner version may have a USSD option and video calling option, but other installer of same version will not have it.
