Monitor. Budget 7K

Started out planning to buy a Chromecast. Settled on an android mini PC. Planning to get the MK908. Need a suitable monitor. Budget 7K.

You mean TV? Chromecast on a display? What would happen to audio?

Yeap. Initially I thought I'd stream stuff from my tablet to the chromecast connected to a monitor. Didn't want to leave the tablet on all the time, hence, settled on the android Mini PC. For the audio, I'm going to use a HDMI to VGA, 3.5mm audio converter. VGA for the display.

No idea man. I would just go to Dell website and buy the most expensive display that fits my budget. I might have had horrible experience with them but at least I know how to deal with them. Other brands apparently are worse.

TFT Active Matrix LCDI am guessing it is the crappier type? The good type being the IPS?

I would suggest a Samsung monitor. My four year old Samsung Syncmaster 2233SW LCD monitor still works great. Samsung 18.5 inch LED Backlit LCD - LS19C150FS/XL Monitor: Flipkart.com Ask admin about Dell :smile:, he has some great experiences.
