I'm liking it. It's fight club for hackers/programmers. I won't be surprised if the big reveal will be that Mr. Robot is an imaginary character.

You mean the speculation that Mr Robot is imaginary? Not necessarily. Mr. Robot looks exactly like his dead father - and is thus almost certainly a figment of Eliot's imagination. This is also evident from the fact that he erased the existence of his sister from his conscience. Alternatively, Mr. Robot is the father who faked his death and never aged in the process.
