I am using a Huawei MT841 adsl modem. It has 4 ports and 1 WLAN card type interface to be inserted for WLAN. Coaxial line is connected to my modem and a ethernet is connected to my pc and thus web access i have.In order to establish wifi in my home i chose to power on the TP-Link WR702n by usb and blindly inserted the ethernet in Tp Link WR702n and also the other end to one of the slots of the 4 port modem. THIS DINT WORK.Next i chose to connect the Tp Link WR702n to my PC Ethernet Slot and Set the IP as 192.168.0.20 and subnet mask 255.255.255.0 and default gateway as 192.168.0.254saved and went to the default gateway site and did the quick setup to ROUTER MODE with Dynamic IP setting.I connected the modem back to my pc and plugged in the Tp Link WR702n into the modems 2nd port and connected the wifi with default password NO NET ACCESS was able to establish.I have obtain ip automatically setting.My huwaei MT841 modem has no such setting of wan or etc. Please suggest me what has to be done in order to establish WIFI When i connect my lan cable to the modem (settings is obtain ip automatically) i don get internet.. not with (192.168.1.2) i cannot go to the settings page of my modem instead with 192.168.1.1 i can log into it..I am not able to set ip of the tp link to wr702n to {192.168.1.3} as the manual says i can set it to 192.168.0.xxx only if i do so i can log into the settings of tplink's setting default gateway which is 192.168.0.254.. now what do i do please suggest
