@sanke1Vodafone are cheats ! I bought a couple of numbers from them (cug), and they've conveniently blocked these four nos from contacting each other. Each time I complain, they say that I'm the one that who requested it in the first place, and that I need to change the sim, have done that, but to no avail.

You are good if you live in big city like Mumbai where they give you good cable operator plans with unlimited usage. I was stating on nationwide basis, their ADSL plans are better than BSNL plans. Where do BSNL provides true unlimited plans over 512 Kbps at affordable/reasonable rates? There are unlimited plans like 2 mbps and 4 mbps but with exorbitant prices like 9000 and 15000 INR respectively. I don't see PTCL charging that much for their true unlimited plans.

I agree their 3G services suck and I was not pointing that out by the way.

But then it is only people who live in big cities and towns who can afford it so there is no comparison on that matter. Also most, if not all, major ISPs in india today not only provide speeds of 1 Mbps or even more, but operate on a much larger scale. So i think their plans, though may seem expensive, are appropriately priced.

a broadband is to be a minimum of 2mb how can they give 1mb with a fup of 8gb and then get to 512kbps and still call broadband? isn't that a fraud/.neways waiting for our current disconnection issue to be resolved:(

@yogincIt is not true that people from big cities only can afford it. It is the matter of availability and they are only restricted to big cities. For my area, I don't even have viable ISP alternatives except BSNL/Airtel/Reliance. And from them, no one offers any true unlimited plan over 512 Kbps at affordable rates. I'm happy to pay like 2500-4000 Rs. for TRUE unlimited 2-4 Mbps but still not having any such option bothers me.
