I guess then this is a deliberate decision taken by MTNL to prevent heavy downloading. Good that I didn't recharge with 2500. If MTNL can't manage their pathetic network, they should just convert their Prabhadevi telephone exchange building in to a Museum. The entrance fee will make them more money.

YAY! Finally got my speeds restored just now. Though disconnections are not fixed yet.
Edit : Damn. That was really short lived. Back to bad speeds again. No idea why MTNL/BSNL picked me only

its not just for downloading...even if i am browsing few pages and reaches that mb 25-30mb bam i am disconnected:S today is monday and still with same disconnection issue been more than a week now officialy
speeds havent been affected so far but not able to use the quality of this speed due to disconnections:S
i got a call from MTNL few minutes back to check whether the problem still persists and what plan/recharge i am on...
its not just for downloading...even if i am browsing few pages and reaches that mb 25-30mb bam i am disconnected:S today is monday and still with same disconnection issue

the usual will get back to me he said they tried a lot of things and still the problem is persisting and lot of users are affected(which i know hehe) thats it no deadline for fixing this issue
