You know...50GB for 1650 is still a pretty good deal to be honest..not considering their service though

I got 50 GB after recharging for 1650/-..

Recharge was done in agreement with MTNL CSC employee when she confirmed that if its not Unlimited she will return the money.. Lets focus on using this 50 GB first then wil see..!!

you actually think she will return the money when MTNL themselves aren't saying it as unlimited...1650 unlimited is for postpaid only and for prepaid its only 50gb limited....

actually 2500 2months for 100gb is even cheaper and best deal

Hi ( can u check mtnl Site or not? Lol)What I m saying that it's speed... U can't give of speed of 512kbps (up touch of 1.2 mbps)after advertising a 7 time higher speed (I aware of server load and data loss in air)"It's not my problem only its problem in my circle "

I think 50 GB will be suffice as the speeds are erratic.. Average being 150-200Kb/s down.. Anyways... if required Ill try to push through for Unlimited.. get me limits resetted or something...

If not from next month it will be 2500/- for 2 months..!

Btw for me its disconnecting every 1.15 GB..!

yeaps earlier it was 2gb limit which has been now changed to 1.15 to 1.19gb before the session disconnects and reconnects. also if you notice after every 100 or so mb of download your speed will drop for few minutes and then catch back...

Is anyone getting short, erratic bursts of speed? Was downloading something when my speed suddenly crossed 6.4 Mbps for a couple seconds!Unfortunately it didn't happen again :(...yet..

who knows you might be in for a speed increase... as i've said earlier there are speed drops after every few 100 or so mb and then it picks up back in minutes...

Since when have you been experiencing speed drops.Because just today, as i said after that speed burst, the speed also dropped down to lows of 50 KBps but right now its back to normal and apparently data usage didn't matter. Was getting stable speeds of about 250-360 KBps even after 100 mb.

If I buy a 3G sim and subscribe to Mtnl 3G service but suppose in some areas 3G is not available will the service automatically switch to EDGE or GPRS mode or do I have to separately subscribe to EDGE or GPRS and pay extra for this?

its been happening with me since the disconnection issue was resolved...speeds goes to 250-300kbps stays that way for a while then when it crosses 100mb or so (haven't exactly kept track after how many mb) it dips for few minutes and speeds are back again after a min or so. but it doesn't actually matter much...

mumbai mtnl prepaid sim comes with preactivated 3g service. wherever you've 3g you would be on 3g else you are switched onto EDGE/GPRS no seperate subscription required...
