Can any one tell me the 3G MTNL GPRS Settings for mumbai?some questions:If I use 3G only in my phone can I use the data plan of 2G? the 98 rupees recharge?

i think there is no setting change.. u just need to activate 3G..but i think as per MTNL website.. all customers were automatically migrated to 3G.

(website seems to be down now so cant paste the link)

btw 98Rs plan is not applicable to 3G.. that was also clearly mentioned on their website.

thanks... so 99 recharge will give 130 MB for 30 days on 3g?

The settings are the same for GPRS & 3G. For the benefit of others I'm posting here the settings which I copied from my mobile's connection properties:

APN: gprsppsmum
Username: mtnl
Password: mtnl123

Authentication: PAP

Proxy address:172.16.39.10
Port: 9401

And yes Rs.99 data coupon gives 130MB of data usage with a validity of 30 days (had used it once).

Proxy address is not required if you are using it on comp OR browser in ur mobile can make direct connection. Most modern mobiles can.

what is 3G profile APN=mimobitv, pps3g, ppshsdpa? are these for 3G?
