MTNL Broadband: Cannot access my router page!!!!!!

hi people im on ul 750kbps plan from the last 1 year,i could access router page but from last 1 month or so i cannot access my router page error comes up as "warning:server is requesting username or password sent in a insecure manner(basic authentication without a secure connection)."our usual username and password is not working im using win7-64bit,is there a workaround this thing if so can ne one please decribe it?pls. reply asap. ps. has mtnl blocked users from accessing router page?

I am exactly facing the same problem. Same plan and same OS.I am also getting download speed only of 8-10 kbps.Was thinking of resetting the modem (Sterlite SAM 300AX) but I do not know the settings.Can anyone provide the settings for this modem?

@operamaniac tried all browsers nothing worked even tried enabling basic authentication in win 7 settings for internet browsing but nothing worked,any other suggestions...?

The only way to it would be "Reset your router". Check for a Reset button located in backside of the router and keep holiding it for a 2 mins and you will be back again accessing the page.
ps. has mtnl blocked users from accessing router page?
