MTNL Broadband: Disconnection & Slow Speed

Hello Frnds,I Had 1Mbps Plan 999/- PM Unlimited....Few Months Ago The Speed & Connection Was Awesome !I Used 2 Download More Than 150GB Per Month..So My Dad Worried & Reduced My Plan To 495/- Unl.So Then A Frequent Disconnection Started On New Plan ! After 2 Or 3 Months Now I Am Back To My 1Mbps Plan& Still The Disconnection Persists ..Worse Is It Now Occurs Every 10-20 Seconds ! & THe Download Speed Is 20-25Kbps ! I Used To Get 120 Kbps Constantly ..Now Hardly For Few Minutes I Get 120 Kbps What Should I Do ?Please Don't Say That Lodge A Complain Or Ask For Help - We All Know Whats The Result Is Gonna Be !I Am Tired Of Ringing 198 & 1504 ...If I Had A Gun I Wud Ask Them 2 Finish My Problem Or I Wud Have Finished Them
 
Well, if you do not lodge a complaint, nothing can be done really. :)This seems to be a line problem. Complaining to server room will not help. But lodge a written complaint to your local exchange and let them know about this problem. This is definitely going to be a slow and painful process.So, godspeed and you deserve a treat from your dad as a compensation.
 
for disconnection there are mainly two reasons1. Problem in local loop(wire that is comming to yr house),lineman can solve this.2. Some Pairs are required to be changed ,I don't know what these pairs are actually, may be ports at server, MTNL take lot of time for changing this thing.Easiest way to get ur connection back on track is to write email to yr area manager and even if nothing happens then to yr GM, but do not blame either of them as they are directly not responsible for the condition of yr Broadband, they will help u for sure.
 
No Its Not A Line Problem ! If It Was The "Link" Light Would Have Flickered ...But Its Stable & All Lights Are PerfectEven No Disconnection Icon Appears On Taskbar (Yellow Sign That Appears On Pc Icon on Taskbar)And Yes ...Ive Lodged Complain MANY A Times...They Just Ring My Phone & Ask Me "Is Internet Working"I Say Yes & Just As I Am Going 2 Say Dat "But The Disconnection Persists" - BOOM They Cut The Phone !
 
honesty is not the policy to be followed with mtnl, just say yes or no to them, if yr connection is working fine then say yes else say no. There is no place for if's and but's.Now if link light flickered slowly when u are not using ur connection ie yr pc is off but modem is on,then it means disconnection had occured and now modem is in re connecting process. When we use internet the link LED blinks fast.
