MTNL Broadband Dropping Speeds Problem

Hi,I have DSL_UNLTD_888 plan where I used to get 2mbps post 8pm-8am and 8am-8pm 512 kbps. Yest. while downloading something via multiple connections, I observed that suddenly in the middle of download, my speeds came back to 512 kbps. I was surfing around 9:15 pm. So has anyone observed such behaviour recently? is mtnl implenting FUP?

Not that I am aware but speeds and pings suck recently.I will try downloading something to check it out.

With MTNL, it is more likely to be network congestion.

yes very true ... speeds have reduced drastically ...

Yup noticed this a few days ago, similar thing had occurred few months ago last year. I am on 650 combo

Umm. Speeds are fine here. Unless you're talking about the 888 plan specifically.

I was getting low speeds since the last three days, especially streaming videos on YouTube was a nightmare. Everything seems to be back to normal since today morning.

speed @ my place are pretty low & sumtimes 0 kBps also ... downloading is nightmare now ... hope they do sumthing

This is happening randomly. Not much happening now since I posted first msg but happened recently all of a sudden and how...I was surfing well @around 2 mbps then I had to do a quick disconnect-reconnect(due to download server limitations) and this time, I cud get max 512 kbps!! so I was surprised to see the ghost to come back again when all was well for all these days since I posted my first message. So I tried again disconnect-connect and got 2 mbps looks like as if MTNL is assigning a user to a set of servers some give you good 2 mbps(or whatever u r supposed to get) and sometimes to restricted servers talk about round-robin loadbalancing
