I have only last week subscribed for a unlimited 512kbps connection however I get only 256kbps speed even the DSL speed status on the modem page says DSL speed as 256/256. I have everyday complained on the 198 number and been assured that speed will be increased however nothing happens I have also sent a e-mail to their address. Could anyone tell me any contact number of any higher person to whom I can complain. Thanks

You can also call up 24361221 and request there. To get that number, you will have to dial 15 or 20 times, till finally you get through. But your work may get done. If they say, your speed is set to 512, then contact your local telephone exchange Triband Incharge.
They activated my account a week ago. My plan was TriB 512 Combo Unlimited. Since the first day itself i have been having problems with the net speed provided 256kbps instead of 512 and after performing rigorous checks of speed via speedtest site, and the the account allotted to me (where it requires id - admin; password - admin).....clearly it reads "256"I lodged a complaint end number of times. I even went to my provider and had spoken about the issue with the head officer (who pretended that he understood my concerns). An executive came to my place the same day and without any reason got angry and used harsh words and said "it is working fine, how the hell would you get a speed better than this when you connect 512!!" i was like, man!! m not an idiot!! ...(damn sick fellow!!)Now I really don't know what to do coz the best thing they could do is trying to convince me with wrongs and false pretenses.My download speed is in the range of 20-25 kbps and sometimes it even run below that.I feel insult and fooled!! but what I knew since my birth is Delhi is full of lies and corruption. I am proud to be an Indian who do no corruption and I don't lie at least.God forgive them MTNL!!
