MTNL Broadband: Ping issues

wow man, IRUS please do a tracert to that server and post your results please , also can you tell me your DNS address if its ok?

To do a treacert

go to run--type CMD--enter

Well I tried the mumbai server on speedtest.net and my pings are retarded,even for the mumbai one xD.Look at this



What can I say dude....Some guys get single digit to 50 ping at mumbai server and I get 120+ always.I wasn't even downloading anything.The worst thing is that I'm based in mumbai LOL.Wtf is with MTNL these days,I'm also getting frequent disconnections.I can't even game properly xD.How can I reduce my pings?


EDIT: The Delhi server is screwed up for sure.I bet.Look at this.NOTE THE PING LOL.Also note the inflated speed download speed.



Well I can just lol at this situation.MTNL must be hating Mumbai or something xD.Let me try the chennai one.



Chennai looks all fine though the upload isn't that low lol.

Seriously what should I do with the pings,Seriously need better pings at mumbai or my gaming is ruined.Thanks in advance.
(Btw is MTNL f***ing with me or is it with everyone.Especially the delhi stuff,that surprised me.)

Hey guys,I'm from Mumbai and have been using MTNL Tri since quite some time. Yesterday however, my ping rates went up drastically from 38-40 ms to 95-103 ms when tested on a Mumbai server. The dl/ul speed is consistent to what it was before. However, I game on xbox live and this sudden rise in ping is causing a lot of lag for me. Kindly let me know how to tackle this with customer service - they seem to not understand ping/latency? cheers!

So I'm stuck with no matches against firangs on live? I'm just perplexed because this problem never happened for the past 2 years and now all of a sudden? did these mtnl guys do some jhol on their end?

I'm from Vashi, Navi Mumbai. I'm too getting high ping rates since 15 days around 91 - 111 ms. Earlier it used to be 32 - 45 ms which was fine. But these days it has been horrific.What to do can't help it. is it because MTNL is adding too many customer's and so it's bandwidth has become low and contention ratio too has decreased a lot (1:22) which earlier used to be (1:45). :ishock::madness:Can someone send this message to MTNL, "MTNL increase ur bandwidth backbone first and than add new customer's". Making life of 5 yr old customer's horrible.:madness:

Im hearing that there is some underwater cable problem. Hence, airtel , bsnl and mtnl are having problems. Can someone confirm?PS:- My pings to delhi are 57 ms. Chennai 60 ms.. Mumbai 95 ms.. and I live in Mumbai..
