Whats ur sync rate in modem ADSL status page? It shud be atleast 2mbps regardless of time of the day.

Looking at attainable rate, it seems they can go upto 13.7 Mbps down & 2.5Mbps up on DSL with MTNL.

Hey ppl can u provide the data sync rate for your plans....mine are d-2048 u-509..what are yours....? with that im getting 201~210kBps max ...what to do?????torrents are all together another story....no where near given speeds....!

What should be the ideal speed for 2mbps connection from mtnl....?by what range we can assume that connection is good....!

2mbps. Though if your data rate is 2048kbps, expect 1.75-1.9mbps

This is from the MTNL Website.

Extract of TRAI notification dated 6.10.2006 for QOS of Broadband Services - "keeping the reasonable loading level in intra-network links upto ISP Node, the benchmark has been prescribed that service providers shall ensure the speed of Broadband connection is greater than 80% of the subscribed speed".

So, that's their SLA, if you get anything less than that, you can bring it to their attention and they are obliged to speed it up. What are your ping times like?
