rolf 1mb to 10 mbps plans on FTH , MTLN don't give fiber a bad name , this what fiber connection looks like

:tongue_smilie:

Cool. But where are you located. Would not have asked if it was displayed correctly :D

Just to take one example. I don't see why anyone would opt for
Fiber 649 when Freedom 497 is cheaper for a similar service??

What say?

Hmm You could be right. :)

MTNL will reduce costs of these plans(specially 2mbps and above) or will make FUP's more adaptable but slowly.MTNL is known for their slowlyness in work, lol

Because they are following same policy in ADSL and 3g.Latest example is their 3G promotional Plans, Rs. 4500 for 6months ie. Rs 750 per month.Initially it was Rs. 1800 per month.

how much did the plans cost initially fr ADSL like 2MBps cost now 1899.....

also in 3G did they change the FUP or just the plan cost. currently its 200GB for 6 months.

some peoples are claming that when 200gb gets over then it will be set to 200gb again till 6months gets over. So plan is unlimited, and MTNL customer care is helpless in this case so I can be sure only when my 200GB will be over before 6 months and will be reset again to 200GB again. as I have both triband unlimited and 3g so my 200GB is unlikely to be finished before 6 months.

the only reason i see any1 opting for FTTH is IF( dats a big IF) it can almost eliminate the disconnection problems altogether and provide an extremely stable line. But the qstn is who is gonna make the jump 1st given mtnl's reputation ?? haha

yeah right at-least we will get MTNL Delhi Stable connection :) so we can try it once. One more thing what about existing MTNL DELHI Customer who are on 2mbps Unlimited plan, will it get automatically converted in Fiber service or we have to call them to change it Fiber service.

THINK your broadband internet connection is fast? Two separate research groups have just lapped the field, setting a world record by sending more than 100 terabits of information per second through a single optical fibre. That's enough to deliver three solid months of HD video- or the contents of 250 double-sided Blu-ray discs.source:newscientist.com
