This is like building a car with a body of a Lamborghini and a 800 Engine fitted inside.

Well I'm too thinking of jumping to FTTH bandwagon just so that there will be no disconnection anymore and the speeds will be stable which is far better than this crappy ADSL shit, which keeps on disconnecting and provides less than 80% of promised speeds. And Wikedmonk from which exchange r u from. So r u contemplating on changing over to FTTH???

thanks to all who have decided to opt for ftth as this will reduce congestion in ADSL and we ,ADSL guys will be able to enjoy Unlimited plans under improved conditions, thanks once again

why are there 1Mbps and 2Mbps speed plans :confused1: ??? FTTH network needs to be faster.. what is the point of ftth when the same speeds are there in dsl... speeds need to be much more than this...

i m on prabhadevi xchange. and i dun have any more patience to deal wit mtnl !! lolz right now i m on a fivent connection with mtnl as a backup line. i m completely gonna give mtnl a pass this time around and shift to hayai coz i think its gonna be launched in a couple of months. mtnl will anyways take time to provide the connection. And knowing mtnl, i m sure they will be the inital teething problems.

LOL...you have cool logic @logiccool

it can happen if MTNL make FTTH plans more attractive by increasing FUP's to say 75GB for 1Mbps and 150GB for 2Mbps and after that atleast 512Kbps speed must be ensured for 1Mbps and 2mbps users

^ 10Gbps is far far away, lets talk about 10mbps with affordable tariffs and nice FUP's,
