DTH is better than IPTV

can u pl explain why
a simple one liner is not sufficient

have you tried downloading at full speed (whatever you get) and watching iptv at the same time? are there any glitches? and what download speeds do you get then?also do compare the video quality to DTH/VCD/DVD.

if i run iptv and surf net simultaneously then surfing speed is 1.9 mbps otherwise it is always touching 2mbps and certainly not less than that.no glitches as of now i run both simultaneously. The video quality is excellent (i am talking in absolute term and not relative)@ alli request someone to review Tata Sky so that i can add some more points and complete the review.

How is the channel sufing speed? Is it as fast as normal cable TV?
not so fast as compared to normal cable tv.But the difference is negligible ;may be 1 or 2 sec more.

thats pretty good. i just hope they get more channels on iptv, then i would like to try it out.just hoping that my line would be able to handle it.

i am in the process of getting iptv installed at my home ... today my modem was replaced with a 4 port one .. so now i have an extra Netgear switch with me (anyone interested in buying?) .... but anyways things seem to be moving quickly since i booked iptv just 3 days ago:) (for the second time.. last time was in november last year)

but as is the case with mtnl they just had to goof up something... yesterday evening someone called from mtnl and asked me to switch off my modem for some time (i was using the net at that time and the connection was getting dropped repeatedly).. so i switched off the modem for an hour but now although i have been synced to 3072kbps(is that going to be enough for iptv?) ... but the actual speed i am getting is again limited to 256kbps!!!!.... (calls for another round of calls to 1500 and emails to kidwai bhawan)....:mad:

u mean u bookd IPTV 2nd time? did they waive of installation charge this time or u will have to pay it again?

i don't know but i dont think it will happen either, since they will take this as a new installation request.

Can u tell me on which areas it is available?.what is the advantage of IPTV over DTH and cable?.
