MTNL router takes time after switching on

Am using MTNL WI FI router HG520. When I turn the power on or switch on this router, it takes around 1 hour to stablise and connect to internet,,The light keep on blinking and are unstable.As a result I have to keep the ROuter on 24x7What can be the fault.

Yes, 1 hour is just too much time to stabilise. I think when i had it, it stabilised in about 1-2 minutes. Ask them to change the router if possible.

well keeping the router on 24x7 is not that bad. but yeah, something is definitely wrong with your router or your line. get it checked.

There may be some problem with the settings in router. I had the same problem with Airtel connection and change in settings by customer service guy has more or less solved the problem.
