mtnl speed decrease?

Hey dudes, I 've got a similar problem. I recently moved from Goregaon to Juhu, so I surrendered my old connection & got a new one. Obviously I use 849 NU ..And in Goregaon I was able to access the usage page & also got speeds of upto 215 kbps download all night.

So as I moved here, I knew it takes like 2-3 months for MTNL to give u a new connection, but I got it in 1 week (contacts). Although the MTNL ppl say everythings fine, the 1504 ppl dont have a record of my internet connection YET, they say it usually takes 15 days but its over a month now ..I used to get 200kbps download the first week but now I hardly go over 50 kbps.

Here is my DSL Status info :

I also called 1504 like 10 times for the speed but nothing seems to happen. Also how do u guys do direct download that are 4-5 gb ? I use "DAP" (Download Accelerator Plus) if u know anything better please tell me.

If anyone has the GLB 502 Router & uses it in bridge mode, I wanna clarify my doubt ..All I do is I make a new connection & connect with dialer. Do we have to do anything else ? Like editing modulation type for better perfomance? On my modulation type page everything is ticked by default ! I 'm reluctant to experiment 'cos I might end up blowing it.
