MTNL Triband down for me since evening

Maybe it has some effect on the reliability..since over the last 4 months there has been a lot of problems...especially on saturday and sunday

I am with the 2954 exchange and have been facing problems since Saturday morning, and it is still not resolved. Getting 'ADSL Link Down' status again and again. And the biggest pain are the CC reps @ 1504 - they keep you on hold for ever, don't understand shit, don't take down complaint and misbehave... MTNL sucks big time!!! Planning to move to Airtel.

yup BRAS stands for broadband remote access server..the difference between MTNL mumbai and MTNL delhi is that mumbai has distributed BRAS setup while in delhi all the remote access servers are located at one place i.e Kidwai Bhawan, Janpath..dont know if this difference has any effect on reliablility though..
It does have an effect on reliability because distributed systems like these are inherently fault-tolerant as in if one node fails, all of them don't go down, provided the nodes can function independently.

no downtime for me , but latency is too high , i was playing gunz and pings were ~400 which usually are under 50
