MTNL wireless Broadband connection delhi

Hi All,Would someone help me out how I can get MTNL wireless Broadband connection. I have visited Sanchar Center at Dawarka, Delhi, they are telling modem is out of stock. Is there any possibities that I can get the connection and buy my own modem.

Well u can get ur own router and get the internet connection. D-Link DSL 502T costs Rs. 1450 in Mumbai, but it is not a wireless one. But i would rather prefer router from MTNL end. Since than the router maintenance is from MTNL's side and if there is any issue with the router than MTNL replaces it for free.But MTNL charges Rs. 50 every month as rent for wired router and Rs. 80 for wireless one. MTNL provides both wireless and wired one.so Rs. 50 X 29 months = Rs. 1450 (equivalent to buying D-Link DSL 502T router) :cool2:.So decision is upto u.:cool2:

Thanx Rohaan, the problem is that modem is out of stock at the outlet. MTNL is govt. owned, they r not sure upto what time it will be available. That's why I m wishing to buy the modem.Anyway thanx for the information & Kind advice.

usually when it goes out of stock it takes a REALLY LONG time to get ffresh stock..
