Is it possible to record movie from the middle.
It is possible to record anything from the middle. If it is a movie and you want to record say after 100 mins, you will loose first 10 mins (if the buffer is set to 90mins). The status in the plan will be shown as partial.[/quote]
You are absolutely right but the condition is that we should have watched that channel for 90 mins .........correct me if i am wrong..........

You should have watched for 100mins in the case I specified.

I am not asking for recording the full movie, only half movie. That is, if i start watching a movie from 12 Noon in sunday (Movie time is 12 Noon to 2 PM), after 30 min, i got a call from my boss and i am asked to go to office. So i want to record the remaining movie content from 12:30 Pm to 2 PM. (I dont need the movie content from 12 to 12:30, because i already watched) Is it possible.

I got my Tata Sky Plus installed on the 10th of Jan. I agree that the product is awesome, but i notice a delay of about half a second in change from one channel to another. This is slower than the normal Digicomp that i had. Any signal that goes from my remote is executed about half a second later :( I have writen to Tata Sky. Lets see what they have to say.

If you want this, just change the channel to refresh the buffer, come back to the channel and record. You will get the movie from where you have stopped.

I dont face any such problem in my box.........one more thing i would like to say to you is that when i press the gudie button to view the EPG........it takes a bit of time to get into any section of the epg and then if you click for the reminder it is get stored in the reminder section but when you press back button in some section of the EPG it takes a bit of time to view the EPG of that section but in TS+ it is fast........

One negative aspect in TS+ is that only one programme can be added where in TS normal box any number of reminder can be added.......eg: if i wanted to add a reminder for 2 programmes which starts at 7.00 PM (1 is on STar Sports and the other is on Sun TV) i can add only on between the 2 in TS+ box:( but where in TS normal box any number of reminder can be added..........:thumb:

This should be pretty normal in any DVR. See, when you change any channel, any catched data for rewind function of the previous channel needs to be erased and new channel is recorded in buffer. That will take half a second depending upon the free hard disk space, time since you were watching previous channel, fragmenting and various other factors.

Hey guys can some one tell me how many of you are using S video or CV1 compoent for your TS+ usuage........by the way i am using CV1 component for my TV viewing......which has got blue, green, yellow wires which connect to my tv component.......and also please suggest me which is better...... I would also like to inform you that i tried S video but in my tv component the picture is great but for me in my tv a slim falls like thing falls in my tv viewing of TS+ and thats the reason i have shifted my TS+ component to CV1 which is also giving a great video quality and audio quality.......
