NDTV Imagine on DTH - we Should go to Court.

Why we are not going to the Court against Zee's DTH service, why we are losting the opportunity to watch the New Channels, we are paying 300/- currently. what is the advantage to opt DTH. They are taking taking too much amount already. We should raise this issue in front of court.9x, 9x movie, Bindass, Bindass Movie, Bindass Music, Neo Sports, NDTV Imagine, NDTV Good Times and many more channels we are missing the entertainment.

I have read somewhere that the consumer complaints are not sorted for many years in India (The one we give to Consumer court) !! dont even remember the source (read in forum or heard in news) !! If this was the same in different country, you can sue them for million dollars ;) small eg: When i transferred money from one bank to another, instead of 1 day, it took 3 days. When i asked the CSR of that bank (Wells Fargo), they said sorry and credited 100$ to my account as a penalty..... Think if that was in india, if we had the same problem, CSR will say "That is like that, we cant do anything. Do what you can" !! We will simply shut our mouth and go home.. !! Lots and Lots of experience.. Just now even from BSNL broadband CSR also said the same "We cant help it. sorry" !! Mainly our society is like that. Others will make fun of that if we fight against something. Been to ICICI bank recently and while parking the person asked for parking fee. (3 rs only). I said i cant give since I came to bank. Others were looking at me as if "this idiot is begging and wasting time for just 3rs". I went inside and got the bank manager outside and told the stuff. He made him not to collect money while parking. That manager was a nice guy.. There were many people at that time. Not even 1 supported me. They might have been thinking "Even beggers wont take 2 or 3rs, then why dont you give that for parking !!" many time, after complaining also, nothing happened.. so.. less hope on all these !!
 
I have said this here many times before, and probably will many times in the future: people have a warped sense of:a) Customer care being very efficient outside India (presumably the US)b) People going around suing everyone else for "millions of dollars" and being successful in that.Yes, people are much more aware of their rights as a consumer, and are much more assertive / aggressive about them. But let's not get carried away.I have dealt with customer care of many companies in the US, and generally speaking they were as bullsh** in the US as they are here. That is the very nature of customer care. It's so that important people don't have to deal firsthand with bickering customers. That's why CC people don't have much powers and that's why they give you the runaround.Good to hear about your experience with Wells Fargo. I have had similar experiences with Airtel. The only thing is that you have to speak to the "supervisor" who has powers to give you waivers etc. and not just the first person who picks up the call.
 
Hey appus, that's right man,i too think the same way as u think.Our society is like that.We cannot do anything or worry about it.

@ Sachin, first on what basis you will go to court, do you have any solid base in support of your statement.
Second, its not possible for any DTH to include all the channels on their platform and if you see current scenerio every day a new channels is going to launch, do you think it possible to have all those channels on any platform.....even all dth companies have certain limitations of having channels. like no oftransponder, availability of space for new channels etc.

To some extent i agree with you, but we can not predict any channel stupid or good one in just a single day...it take some time to see exactly how this channel perform and what are their content.
 
Well I can understand your point and I support you but we can't do.You can easily see:Dish Tv have a right to add / remove channels. At Terms and Conditions.
 
Yeah Channel is turning out to be rather stupid.Interestingly i have cable which is owned by Zee and they have replaced Star Plus with NDTV Imagine with Star Plus being pushed slightly far on the bandSo it will come soon on DishTv as well probablyNDTV Imagine is having only Stupid programs at the moment
