Need a blender?

need a blender for making smoothies so i can just keep it overnight for breakfast n stuff. should be able to blend fruits(bananas, blueberries etc), oats, protein etc nice and easy.

have no idea about blenders. i live alone, hate hand blenders, dont need anything fancy, something you have used and felt great value for money would be good enough for me. from flipkart, if possible.

I wonder what kind of ice do these people try to crush. I mean I do not crush ice daily in the chopper I have. I have however done it more than a few times. Though I have no idea how long it would survive if I keep on using it to crush ice. The blades are quite sharp though. The reviews warned to take care because you can cut your fingers etc. very easily on it.

for immediate cold coffee, shakes etc consumption in summer

quantity is less i believe in that Philips blender you posted. else everything looked good reviews etc

So it has a capacity of 1 liter though to crush things better keep the levels at 600ml.

This is for the Philips one. The TVC Merlin I used to own long time ago.
