I have Dataone Home 500 which I have connected to my desktop SmartAX MT880.I have recently purchased a lenovolaptop . Please tell me how I can connect the existing dataone broadband connection to this laptop.

Connect lan port to Laptop. and test.
Connect usb port of modem to desktop. ( if you have the USB drivers)
Thanks for the reply.I want to use WGR614v8 wireless router for getting internet on both my desktop and laptop. Is the modem MT880 good enough or is there a better modem which can give significant speed boost?

Few things to remember –
·Don’t connect the ADSL Lan Cable to the Internet Uplink port of the Wireless Router. It never worked for me. Always connect it to one of the 4 ports excluding the designated Internet port.
1.General complaint about BSNL BB today. Try tomorrow. modem does not have much effect on speed.
2. Check speed at wwwspeedtest.net ( add dot after www) mumbai
3. Download TCP/IP optimiser program from wwwspeedguide.net Select optimum values.
4. Connect Rj45 from Modem to Lan2 port of Netgear and try
