Hi.. This is only my 2nd post.. But, i always visit forum and read.. but, don't login.. I have a Sony television.. I have only 1 pin to connect 2 either Tata Sky or cable ... though i am able to connect my dvd and other stuff in other pins.. for tata sky or cable, it seems to have only 1 major pin.. stupid sony.. But, I see people using dth and cable on same television.. I saw dhoni post some really good answers for any help.. So, I would like dhoni or any other person, to tell me, how I can connect both cable and tata sky to my television and switch and watch it.. I tried one small connector which i got from electrical shop.. its hectic.. its not clear and both does not work when i try it.. Then, I am really really not happy with packages .. I have another question.. " Anyways Tata sky is the costliest in dth players.. They have decided all new channels go to add on packages and they reduced the base pack price equalling to one add on only.. but they have created many add ons and also ala carte.. base price should reduce by another 30 rs minimum.. My major concern is, why we are denied to watch zee channels " around 15 zee channels are missing.. let them add it and let them create a package for all zee channels for say some 75 to 100rs .. By doing this, they can reduce the base pack price and also whomever who feels, they need zee channels will subsribe to it.. I am frustrated at tata sky, just for the sake of it is zee group channels, they r not providing the channels though available... also, long war for music channels ... anyways, they are making us a pay a lot.. atleast add all channels and make add ons as they like .. last point ... " Let the customer decide what he needs .. not tata sky ... I am strongly against their policy.. " It is already flooded with my many complaints .. I believe everyone will agree to whatever I said ... This is a long post.. I want to be an active member of this forum from now on.. A Big Hi to All :thumbsup:

as far aw I know cable and Tata Sky go into diffrent slots. I might be wrong i don;t use TS.But if they are the same cable type, then you can purchase a adapter kind of thing, in which input is 2 while output is single. Tune cable to your normal channels and TS to VIDEO 1 or VIDEO 2 or VIDEO 3.if theya re diff. then there should be no problem as the cable goes into a diff. input than the TS.

You need to connect terrestial/cable signal to RF IN. And RF out of STB to TV. Then scan TV for UHF channels. UHF channels will be stored on TV with 1 channel from STB & others from terrestial/cable. [Important: You need to set STB UHF in such range that it will not interfere with terrestial/cable, or else video quality of either would not be good. So set STB UHF out around CH 68/69]
