Guys I got new broadband connection yesterday. Please guide me how to set it up? Even after following the steps mentioned in the manual/cd, i m unable to connect. The LAN shows connected but DSL light in the modem doesnt glow hence no connection. Please help. I am from Chennaitell me the IE setting and other setting to do? I have disabled all the AV and firewalls also

BSNL BROADBAND MAIN MENU
Select your modem. and check settings.
If still Unable to connect
Start/Network/LAN/Properties/TCP/IP properties
Check Obtain IP address automatically.
In DNS enter 208.67.220.220 and 208.67.222.222. SAVE.
Para two; For dialer mode.
In WAN page select "Bridged" Save and Reboot.
Make a dialer.
PPPoE DIALER INSTALLATION
See the Diagnostics page of your modem. for any fault finding.
Post Device status screen shot or details in that page.
