The max plan is Rs. 1500 for 16 Mbps with a data cap of 50 GB. Post FUP speed will be 512 kbps only.

Thanks but no thanks.

Right now, 2049 for 10 Mbps with 90 GB and 1.5 Mbps post FUP is the perfect balance.

Change to it via selfcare website. (Register with your CA number is must)

Mumbai only.

Hi,
I m on the 8mbps 2699 plan, i m interested to switch to VDSl 2049 plan that you got, but what is VDSL? i got dsl with Mtnl since years now, for vdsl do i need a new connection or have to change the modem? any new installation fees?
i know how to change the plans through mtnl selfceare but dunno what vdsl is :-/

Thanks.

I am using ADSL modem only. Only plan is VDSL 2049 10 Mbps.

They put me on VDSL port which required VDSL modem. But I forced them to put me back to SOTL port which runs on ADSL.

Kinda tempted to switch. Currently on 1500/8/60GB. Post FUP speed seems to be the only deal breaker :(

These crap folks can't even provide 8 MBPS on normal telephone lines > 1 KM. Whats the point of giving 8 or 16+ MBPS on ADSL if they can't do it independent of distance from exchange. Are they asking people to buy flats around the exchange with a view to raise property prices in their vicinity?
