Hi Everyone, I Hope all of you are doing great.

So here is my experience with ACT Fibernet in Jaipur since 17 Dec 2024.

I was previously an Airtel Customer, but if you follow Airtel Issues on the Broadband Forum, you may know about their Hard Capping of Speeds, Unnecessary Charges, Poor Services, and Lack of Proper Support.

On the 18th, a sudden message came that "Airtel Services would be resolved by 20th December", so I finally paid 2443 for a 3-Month Plan with a 500 Security Amount.

Installation was done on the same day with an old Nokia with Model G-140-W & was satisfied with their initial speeds until after 2 Hours, my ONT showed LOS Light so my sales guy himself asked Sir why your net was down so I told him the issue so he sends one engineer & engineer showed up in less than 15 Minutes & did a thorough investigation in 5 Minutes to find out that OUR Area OLT was gone to -5 Power so the Fiber Module may have burned inside the ONT so he changed it to GX Earth 2022 Model, still very satisfied until yesterday same time, that ONT too gone into LOS but this time he said it's the Router Fault so I got Nokia G-140-C now & just in this time I had gone with 2 ONT Changes & experiences with All Those ONT's are good & I believe that they will still provide this much great services after this too.

So this was my quick journey with ACT & I have used around 330GB of data since the start of the connection.

Moreover, I will update after a proper 1 Month of usage & will give my One-month service Feedback on 20th January 2025.

Thanks for reading.

Dear @Smallship I have opted for 75Mbps plan previously 50Mbps now upgraded to 75 so I am getting around 85-90Mbps always & even Onedrive gives full support of 10Mbps constantly for uploads & downloads

@Aravb, as usual, humans do make mistakes :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Well, as I remember, it's like 131 days now (correct me if I am wrong) & I am utterly shocked at their services, seriously only 1 time connection got down suddenly for 28 Minutes at night & since then I was offered full day compensation, suddenly got a Zee 5 for 1 month for free by ACT & now Parents are way more happier now as there is no lag in Facebook, YOUTUBE as compared to Airtel & even my router went to 30 days constant running with no issues.

Plus, there is one mod I did. I had a Nokia G-2425G-A Router lying here at my place, so I thought, "Let's try to change the router." Guess what? I am officially running Airtel Nokia on an ACT GPON Server. Well, I am truly in love with ACT Service and got another connection on 1 January 2025. Overall, I am very much impressed and believe these services will run better in the future, too.

Let's see how their Smart Wi-Fi Experience is, but for that, I need to wait for them to roll out those services here.

@DakshK579, I'm also thinking of going for ACT as in Airtel Xstream Fiber there is a lot of speed drop at peak hours and the Airtel provided router(AOT-5221ZY) is shit plus they are not willing to change it.

I talked with one ACT sales person and he told me that I can use my own router with ACT if I need that and he can also help me configure it. My only concern is that ACT is not fully FTTH as I saw many installation videos on YouTube where ACT is installing CAT6 wire into the house, is this true?

@DakshK579 @laksh211in, I read multiple people having different installation experience, some people have CAT6 wire being installed into their homes and others have fiber being installed at their homes, so I got confused and hence asked this question here. I guess I'll take their demo and then only I'll know how they are installing it on my end.
