Yesterday was GH 9am to 7pm. Managed to download substantial. :)
crestlreg website was timing out. Today it shows I downloaded a whopping 1.21 MB in that period.

Moved over to BB-1500-6M from May 2016. Getting good 710 KBps DL for torrents. After being used to 200 KBps for over a decade, 6 Mbps feels like nirvana.:p

I'm on a 4Mbps connection at the moment. My line stats are:

SNR Up : 24.1
SNR Down : 20.6
Line Attenuation Up : 22.6
Line Attenuation Down : 35.6

Can I safely move to one of the 6Mbps plans without my SNR going below 12-13 or so?
Yes you can. My line stats were even poorer.

Currently they are with 6 Mbps
SNR Up: 10.9
SNR Down: 20.6
Line Attenuation Down : 34
Line Attenuation Up : 4
Attainable Rate Kbps: 9812 DL 2475 UL
Rate Kbps: 6911 DL 511 UL
Router: D-Link DSL 2750U

Thankfully no disconnections. Perfect 10 hour single session.

Anything more than 6 Mbps, my line may start giving troubles.:whew:

Recently when MTNL changed their Triband plans customers were allowed to stay on their old plans but I have noticed tht my UL speed has been reduced pre FUP to 512kbps frm 1Mbps (DSL_UNLTD_XPRESS_COMBO_749). This I think is unethical & a sneaky stunt. Never expected this from them. Is it only me or are others facing this too?

The poor upload speed of 512 kbps can cause sluggish browsing as data needs to be sent and received for faster internet. 8 Mbps download speed will be bottle-necked by 512 kbps upload speed.

Anyone else feels the same?

Nope. Unless you are also uploading data then it will be bottleneck.

Like video call or torrent.

If you are just downloading then 512kbps will not cause slow down.
