New BSNL Connection

I want to go for a new BSNL conection . I am from gurgaon, can anyone tell me its performance.what is the difference in Plan 500 and 500c, they have night unlimited ...is it so?? Can i use this on airtel modem also if i dont buy the BSNL modem.

1.For this cost you cannot get speed upto 2 Mbps with other ISP's.
Being a Govt corporation, you cannot expect customer care , without some delay.
2.The plans are different in the number of free telephone calls allowed, and free data usage.

3. Yes. Simply change VPI/VCI to 0 35 and enter bsnl BB ID without @ bsnl.in and new password. Should work. I am using beetel220BX modem for Dataone.

thanx for ur reply also i came to know the night unlimited timings are not property some times it gets charged ...is that so??

Not really....if u connect after 2 am and disconnect before 8 am as per the bsnl server time, you cant be charged...

U can schedule your downloads to start by 2:10am and disconnect from the internet by 7:55am.
