True. But to be frank, i would rather spend the 1 Lakh more for the "feel safe" factor. But if i were to plonk my money like right now for an automatic hatch with safety features, i have no clear cut choice. I may even try to see if i can get a good condition used Astar automatic (it has ABS at least i guess) whenever i am in the market as it will save me money, but more importantly, since i do not really know proper driving, I can get some sort of practice on that before buying a brand new car.

Okay, so if I fit the top model Polo (the one closest to 7 lakhs) into my budget, is that worth waiting for (the refreshed version coming in July)?
Or shall I just go with Brio or something?

You might get a decent discount or deal on the current Polo today. If Polo is indeed getting a major upgrade next month or so, prices are likely to be higher and no discounts. Hyundai had deals on all their models except for Grand because it was a recent launch.
