So, it seems Reliance CDMA network at my place is completely screwed up. No signal at all, both CDMA 1x mode and EVDO. My Palm Pixi seems to be searching for network forever.

The problem started since yesterday. Initially I thought it is my mobile which is at fault as I use the internet dongle only whjen the BSNL link is down.
Tried calling the customer care, disconnected the call after holding for more than 10 minutes.

I've tweeted them. Let's see how good the support via social networking is.

Lol... RCOMcare uses Airtel Broadband.... :pleasantry:

Reliance seems to have special training for their executives, To Ask the most stupid question which makes the customer leave the issue and wait on his fate.
When their network is down, and you email them, you get the acknowledgement of mail in next 24 hours.
this should have been instant and should not be "pic and choose" types.
phone support will never accept network is DOWN, they would blame it on your computer etc etc.
In my case. entire locality had outage, and reliance didn't gave a damn to it, called them e-mailed them and always got canned
reply, asking me to learn how to configure the damn dialer, and mostly no reply after first reply, even when I replied as a support ticket has to be
replied (i.e. without changing the subject and sender)
They are also very qualified to lag the issue till your validity ends, and once pack is finished, What Issue you are talking about, you don't have a active plan.
Retards,..................................
