@tr1k0N4 /guys. I am thinking of attempting to unlock mine and have few questions:

My current versions:
H/W: 3FE48299DBAA
S/W: 3FE49362JJIJ54

1. From what I understand from other threads, @tr1k0N4 and few have mentioned that "3FE49362JJIJ54" is unlockable, using the methods by @Rehan Kumar or Video by Geeky Twins (assuming both are different guys). Let me know if this is correct?

2. I remember reading on some thread, @tr1k0N4 mentioned that post unlock after he edited the S/N, the router won't boot. Is it the same version "3FE49362JJIJ54"? Point is - will unlocking "3FE49362JJIJ54" still allow it to be fully customized, yet allow to continue using with Airtel (by copying S/N etc?)

3. Will unchecking TR-069 checkbox in unlocked router will prevent this "ruthless cooking" from Airtel? I assume yes, but need your opinions.

4. Finally any word of caution/special steps when unlocking and S/N editing "3FE49362JJIJ54"?

TIA!

I have no association with any YT channel!
Secondly, my Nokia refused to boot as I might have done something different but brdr @IfranAli also unlocked his Nokia and changed his GPON SN and it worked perfectly for him. Therefore, while there's always a risk involved in carrying out such tasks, more often than not, it's the human error causing issues so please be very particular about the steps.
Thirdly, unlocking does allow you to modify all the settings, brdr.
And yes, turning TR069 does ensure "permanent cooking", unless you are extremely unlucky.
Good luck!

Óla brdr @tr1k0N4 ! Whoa! That reply was faster than a fiber link!

I understand and appreciate your suggestions, will follow the steps carefully. From what I've read the version 3FE49362JJIJ50 was unlocked by @Rehan ahmad, but you tried similar on 3FE49362JJIJ54 and it worked too (apart from S/N hiccup).

So in a nutshell I will proceed with the 3FE49362JJIJ54 feat.

My bad - @Rehan Kumar, I mistakenly tagged you instead of @Rehan ahmad

Airtel pushed a FW update on Nokia G-2425G-A yesterday.
Bumped up the version to 3TN00795MJLJ03(1.2402.703).
IDK what changes they made to lock more things in the router.
Do let me know about it.

@iYuvrajMehta My airtel router of Nokia also auto updated to version 3TN00391MJLJ03(1.2402.703).
I was having two SSID, One for 2.5GHz and other for 5GHz. After update it kept same SSID for both bands. In mobile it shows just One SSID with 2.5GHz/5GHz in front of name.
