It did not really have a pure PureView camera from what I understand.

No, it didn't. But Camera is best quality I have ever seen. Colleague has this phone. I also wanted to get this, but Nokia sales discouraged me saying that since 820 is discontinued, I would face issue for battery and other spare parts. So I gone for 620.

620 has 512 mb RAM right? I am thinking for 525 by selling my Lumia 710

Yes, 620 has 512MB RAM, so few apps are not available. And 620 don't have FM Radio.
525 is good option as it has 1GB RAM, but it dont have Camera Flash and front camera is also missing.

Hmm.. I wud actually wait for Lumia 6 Or 7 series with 1 GB RAM

Don't go for 620/625 It has only 512mb ram which makes it lack many apps on windows store. Better go for 525 or wait for 1GB ram of series 6/7
